Make new friends, but keep the old ones, The new ones are silver, but the old ones are gold!

Topics on friendship like: Sharing life experiences with your friends, being able to turn to them in time of need. Remembering that they are human too and that they need help and healing, just as much as you need it. Remembering that growth isn't always beautiful, it's normally ugly. Making up after a fight, disagreement or misunderstanding. Allowing them to find themselves with or without you in their life. Loyalty, honesty, being open and vulnerable around them and learning from each other. Those are just some of the topics I can write about non stop, because I experienced them all my friends. The very sad one of them all is the process of outgrowing some of your friends or going different ways, then feeling that joy of finding each other again years later and it feels like nothing changed, That is all part of the process of growing up. Evolving into your best self is so much more fun when you have friends who understand and can relate to certain situations. Some friends never re-connect again, because you simply, totally outgrow each other. Still it is very important to forgive each and everyone on your journey and let them go with love.
It is not always easy, especially when the mind (ego) takes over. That too is a process, because being able to stand back and analise a situation and be mature enough to realise that you played a role in the outcome too, is very important to how much you'll be able to grow and evolve and grow at the end of the day.
Not everyone who started on your journey, will be there with you at the end of it, but that too is profound, because all souls have their own path to walk. Enjoy the time you had together and cherish them for life.
