All The Adversity Is Worth It

Life is an interesting journey. You never know where it will take you. Peaks and valleys, twists and turns, you can get the surprise of your life.

Sometimes on the way to where you're going, you might think this is the worst time of your life. But you know what? At the end of the road through all the adversity if you could get to where you wanted to be, you remember that whatever don't kill, make you stronger. That all of the adversity was worth it.

On your way to the top you'll do anything, but how do you get your life back when you get there? - T.I ft Rihanna - Live Your Life (Intro)

This song started playing tonight as I got ready to write this blog post. Today I received the same message, in quotes and in an interview that I listened of Moses Williams (Ouma Sarie). In life we have to face a lot of adversities, before we're able to get to where we are meant to be. No matter what it is that your life path is or what your purpose in life is. You will have to overcome things, attacks, being made fun of for dreaming big, being insulted because materialistically you're not on the same level as others, people won't support you and you'll be treated like an outcast because you're different or misunderstood.

But one thing that Moses said was if you give up on your life purpose, you take away someone else's blessing that you were meant to be in the future once you reach what you were supposed to be in life. For instance, if you give up on your dream to become a doctor, because of adversity that you have to face today (you have no food to eat tonight, so because of that you feel like you're unable to follow your dreams), you end up blocking being able to save someone's life in the future once you become a doctor and achieve your dream. Sometimes your destiny is bigger than your current situation. God gave each one of us a gift, a purpose and it is our responsibility to protect that purpose. Jay Shetty said that if you protect your purpose, your purpose will protect you.

If my words help one person, then my work is done. Then despite all the adversity I face, it is worth it. I always say that God is always speaking to us. The question is are you listening? I've become so close to God that even during my most difficult adversities, those really heart-breaking attacks and feelings of walking this journey alone. Messages from God always make me feel better instantly. That way instead of wallowing in my own self-pity I take all my emotions, all my feelings and channel them into something positive and beautiful.

May the soul that need this word find it and know that it was written with so much love and that you were Divinely guided to this word. Stand Firm & Trust In The Lord, even during your most difficult adversities, remember that He's with you every step of the way.
